ALPS provides patrons with the ability to reserve or sign up for a public computer. With our intuitive interface and a couple of clicks, users can make a reservation or join a waiting list. Optionally, patrons can go directly to any computer and start a session if that computer is currently available. |

Session time control |

Using a technology called "Big Ben," ALPS delivers the most robust access and time control solution on the market. During initial configuration, the library can set all the timers, organize the computers in groups, and select applicable policies for the groups. |

Print control |

|
The print control module tracks and/or charges for printing costs using an account balance system with patron cards. ALPS also gives the library the ability to allow users a configurable amount of free printing per day, week, month, or year. |

Remote control and administration |

The remote management feature of ALPS is designed to enhance the computing experience for both computer users and administrators. |
